Policies

General Consulting Fees

• My fee is $60/hour for time on projects for general consulting services.
• For certain projects, I am willing to provide a flat fee project price, or a "not-to-exceed" price.
• If a client's location or job site is more than 25 miles from my home, I reserve the right to bill mileage for travel to and from that location.
• I don't generally bill time for local travel to and from a client's site when I will work at the site for a substantial portion of a day. I reserve the right to bill travel time if further travel is required within a day, or for meetings or errands which are part of a project. I will bill my normal hourly rate for travel time over 1 hour round-trip from my home.
• Incidental office expenses are part of my normal overhead, but I will bill for larger print/copy jobs, report covers, toll phone calls, etc. which may be required for a project.
• I invoice at the beginning of each week for my time and expenses from the previous week (ending Saturday midnight). I expect payment within 15 days of receipt of my invoice unless other arrangements have been made. I will cease further work if payment is late.
• My fee is $100/hour for private coaching or other services which substantially duplicate training seminars which are available through Effective Systems or Training for Productivity.

On-site training

• Travel costs may apply if the seminar location is more than 25 miles from New Providence, PA.
• A $100 deposit is required to confirm a reservation for on-site training. The balance is due and payable by check at the conclusion of the seminar.
• Effective Systems stands behind the quality of our training material. If you are not satisfied after receiving our training, we will waive payment and refund your deposit.
• Effective Systems provides a video projector and lecturn for the training. The hosting organization generally provides a meeting room with a suitable projection screen or light-colored wall.
• Our presenter generally needs about 45-60 minutes to set up the meeting room before the start of training.
• If I cancel the training, I will promptly refund your deposit.
